I love NFL , the 17 week regular season always seems to fly right by.  This season was probably the most entertaining and action packed that i've seen in a long time.  Although I haven't seen many attention grabbing events for the big game this Sunday.  Which is kind of sad, but why market or advertise aggressively when East Lansing's bars will be full all day on Sunday. THURSDAY 2/4/10: The POST is hosting another Island night, these parties are a LOT of fun and tend to make you forget about the horrible Michigan winter.  Great specials too! The Post is continuing to put on great events which are creating a lot of buzz in the EL Bar scene.  Specials are, $3.00 Long Islands, Long Beach drinks,  Mai Tais Mixed Drinks, Jamaican 10-Speed Martinis, Coronas / Corona Lights!

Club RUSH is really doing a great job of consistently throwing large events with great specials and this weekend is no different. Every night this weekend they are having a special event.  Tonight Club RUSH is hosting a Haiti Relief Fund Raiser party.  Featuring DJ EC3 (21 + only) $5 Minimum Donation at the door. Drink Specials: $2.00 Wells, $2.00 Calls, $2.00 Beers.

While upstairs Harper's is having a $1.95 (Wells, Calls, Beer) you call it night featuring DJ DAV. From the Event details "-- DJ Dav will be dropping everything from Top 40 to Hip Hop to House to Alternative remixes to who knows what else! I can tell you it will be different that most anything you hear in East Lansing on a regular basis!"

FRIDAY 2/5/10: Don't forget about another bangin Free For All Friday at RUSH.  I can't ignore this event, and i don't want to.  it boils down to THE best drink specials period. Friday is a tough day all together for specials, everyone wants to go out which means just about every EL bar will have a line.  When that happens most bars don't bother with specials... BOOOO! Anyways have fun and FFA Friday's at rush are wild.  Here is a run down of details.

SUNDAY 2/7/10:

There is one exception to this lack of specials for the Big Game.  Trippers is doing it big time (like they always do) with $2.00 well drinks, $2.00 Bud and Bud light bottles / drafts and $2.00 new york pizza slices.  This is without a doubt one of the best places to watch a game.  Hopefully we'll see you there!

It is also HAPPY hour all day long at the RIV on Sunday for the big game!
